The Campout

Last weekend I went camping with my Dad on an R.A. trip. My friend Greg came. Sam came too.

When we got there we pitched our tent. Then, I, Sam, & Greg went to get some wood for the fire. We stayed up late that night. The next day I, Sam, & Greg cooked French toast.

And we learned how to clean our plates with leaves. Then we went to Warwoman Dell. We tried to dig up the big tunnel. Then we searched for gold! We went to another place.

There everyone panned for gold except me. It was a long time getting back to the van.

Then we went to a picnic table and had lunch. We made sandwiches & had chips too. Then we headed back, Greg told a story about a beaver called Papa Beaver.

Then Dad & I got in our car and headed home.

I liked the trip! It was great. I'm sure Greg & Sam liked it too.
